Lots and Lots of Little Hair Bows

Here is a great collection of our small 2 inch "Anna" style bows. These bows are the perfect size for little ones and those girls who don't want big bows, just a touch of color to make and outfit complete. These bows are a custom order for Jamia.

Small Pink Hair Bows

Custom pink bows for Chloe. Here are two different pink bows, both have lots of fun ribbons in gingham, dots, korkers and hearts. They are white, light pink and pink. You can't tell in the picture but in the bottom bow, the gingham is layered over a dotted ribbon, so little dots poke out from the sides.
Let me know which one you like more.

Blue Hair Bows

These are a custom creation for Chloe. Here are two different blue bows. The shades of blue don't work very well together in the same bow, so I made two different bows. The top bow is light blue (with a hint of robin's egg). The bottom bow is blue. The flowers charm can be omitted if you prefer.

This is a custom bow made for Cristie. The bow was inspired by an outfit by My Vintage Baby Most Wanted. This bows is about 3 1/2 inches wide and made with shocking pink, hot pink and leopard grosgrain ribbons. Some pink korkered ribbon adds and little pop, and the center has a shocking pink flower charm.

Big White Hair Bow

Every girl needs a big white hair bow. It goes with everything. This bow is about 5 inches wide and made with grosgrain ribbon and pretty imported European imported ribbon. The imported ribbons have just a little bit of shine to them to give this bow some depth.

The Parts of a Hair Bow.

I thought it would be great if I had a diagram to share with customers so that they knew the parts of a hair bow when we are discussing custom orders. The bow shown above is a common style that I make. This 4.5 inch wide bow can be worn on a bowband for infants or bigger girls can wear one or two at a time.

The top section is shown with a two loop twist, a four loop bow could be substituted for a a different look. This bow also has loops and korkered ribbon as accent layers. The tails are shown in a 1.5 inch wide ribbon but could be made with a 7/8 inch wide ribbon for a slightly smaller bow.

This bow is slightly smaller, about 4 inches wide. The big difference between the two bows is that the middle layer is made with different width ribbons resulting in a smaller bow. I have also made the tails in 7/8 inch wide ribbon. The top layer is shown in a four loop bow, it is also available in a two loop twist.

I thought I would share a quick picture of my bow making studio. This is just a sample of the ribbons we have available. This is some the printed ribbons, over 60 feet of shelf space. The solid colored ribbons and holiday themes are in cabinets on another wall. So, if you are looking for a hair bow made with perfectly matching ribbons, we probably have them (plus a few more that you didn't know you needed).

P.S. A big thanks to my Dad for the great ribbon racks. They are actually rain gutters.
